Body

The medium-sized cat is muscular and has a solid, slightly elongated body with medium bones.
The body is not compact. The back rises slightly to the hind legs, the chest is well rounded and
the hips are firm. The legs are short. The upper part and the lower part of the front legs are
equally long, the upper part and the lower part of the hind legs are equally long. The paws are
firm and round, and point straight forward on all 4 legs, neither twisted inwards nor outwards.
The tail is as long as the body, only moderately thick and tapering to a rounded tail tip.

Head

The head is a modified wedge with gently rounded contours, in proportion to the body. The forehead
is flat, the profile shows a slight stop. The nose is of medium length.
The muzzle is moderate with gently rounded contours, pronounced whisker pads are acceptable.
Firm chin, which forms a vertical line with the tip of the nose.

Ears

The ears are in proportion to the head, broader at the base with rounded tips. The ears are set relatively
upright at the corners of the head and not flared.
Ear tufts are tolerated.

Eyes The eyes are almond-shaped, open and alert. They are set wide apart and at a slight slant to the base of the ear.
All eye colours are permitted.
Coat The coat is medium short, glossy, resilient and not close lying, an all-weather-coat with moderate undercoat.
Colour varieties All colours and patterns are recognized. Any amount of white is permitted. The description of colours is listed
in the general list of colours.
